Does anybody rate these?
Found some with mintex pads as a package.

Thanks I've had a few close calls with the standard brakes. I want to get the best discs n pads possible with the standard calipers.

I've had some dimpled and grooved ones coupled with mintex pads on my S3 setup for about 5000 miles now, as above they can be a bit noisy but it doesn't bother me personally, they stop pretty well and havn't managed to warp, crack or really fade them (and I've given them some stick) for the money I think they're pretty good, I'm running about 270HP and they're plenty good enough to stop the car nicely. Don't know how they would do on a track but I find them spot on for fast road use and for the price I paid I can't complain.

Yeh they're pretty decent but if as above you're after the best possible there are better ones out there but they're a lot more expensive.

What would you recommend? I'm not worried about spending more just can't go for bigger brakes at the moment.

Absolutely awful brake IMO. Bought the same package from mtec on eBay just over a year ago (still on my car now) they are the noisiest brake I've ever heard, and fade dangerously quickly. Also started to notice quite deep scores in the fronts, and some coming on the rears. You pay for what you get on these unfortunately.

These keep catching my attention but they have very mixed reviews, I think on Honda forums they cannot fault them but BMW stay well away, only went further a field as there isn't a lot of information for them for vag application

345mm MTEC discs are ~100 quid on ebay.

Pagid 340mm are ~120.

I know which ones I would be getting  :happy2:
