Title: Newbie from Notts/Derby
Post by: AJB-09 on July 28, 2014, 09:54:20 am
Hi all just joined up and i'm on the lookout for a mk5 GTI 3dr, currently got a VW Lupo GTI and a VW Golf GTI MK4 (mapped 20vT) Think the mk4 will make way for the Mk5 though and keep the Lupo. Live on the Notts/Derby border and had some VW's over the years, 22 actually! Ranging from mk1 Sportline, Genuine mk2 G60, R32's, Corrado's etc etc.

What i'm preferably after though is a slightly fettled mk5 (re-map, induction kit) but it's more important I find a clean tidy sub 80k car that I can keep for a while

Thanks

Adam

Both pretty close then, i'm just in Somercotes between J27 & J28. Spent quite a bit of time in Beeston as the missus lived there for a while, Hucknall only 15 mins away

Cheers, just need to find a decent motor now! Still looking at TT's and mk4 R32's but I know with my head a Mk5 GTI is the better car, just miss that noise from the R!
