Title: Can anyone tell me the difference between...

These two part numbers for accelerator pedals.


1K2 721 503 L

and

1K2 723 503 L

I snapped the lugs of the "723" version which is off my '06 DSG Gti and the only one I can find with everything intact is the other "721" version. Can I swap one for the other or is that impossible??

Really hope this will work!

The 723 is for DSG and the 721 is for manual. At least that's what a quick google showed me.

EDIT: Remember, the DSG has the kickdown switch.

Cheers stealthwolf, that's what I was thinking. Don't know why when I googled, I didn't get any answers?? At least I've found out how to remove it safely next time so I'll swap the kick down over and see what happens.

ha ha absolutely but they're a bugger to find second hand with everything intact when you break the one in the motor  :P
