Title: Ordering parts from TPS
Post by: petemcr on July 31, 2014, 11:22:26 am
Hey all,

Anyone got much experience with ordering parts from TPS? I'm looking at changing the PCV valve on my GTI as I think it has gone, I've just rang TPS to get prices but they couldn't tell me what part number of revision number the parts are and from what I've read on here they have been changed.

Anyone know if they will be the newer revised parts? They seem to only allow you to order parts by going of the cars Reg, they also quoted £24 for a new DV, I've been looking at the Rev D and it looks like it's too cheap to be that but again, they couldn't tell me the part number.

I normally give them a part number if I know it, or a Reg number and they reccommend me parts.

Just curious but how come not a Rev G DV?

Well, funnily enough I went in to pick up parts and they were able to show me which one it was, and it's the Rev. G that I have picked up, I'd just not bothered to look up the latest Revision so alls well that ends well

Ive had nothing but good experience with them in a number of my local ones (I move a lot for uni) the blokes are always very helpful and I have always been given trade discount by asking, all the indi garages ive used use them as well instead ofvw or euro car
