Title: Engine off Oil pressure warning light

Just been out for a quick blast down back lanes, car flashing turn off engine oil pressure warning light,
I did the pick up pipe around 3months ago,
Can the sensor on bottom of sump be faulty and cause warning light to  come on? Dont really fancy having to undo everything to check the pickup pipe again!

The sensor can be faulty. If you did the pickup recently I'd imagine it is the sensor. I think it might be difficult to get at though...not 100% sure though.
