Title: Rear wiper and window heater stopped working

Hi I have just purchased my new gti and all was fine until a week after buying it my rear wiper and heater have both stopped working. I can hear the relay clicking when I push the stick so not that. Fuses seem ok too. Any ideas anybody?

I suspect the wiring may have broken at the bend in the rubber boot at the top of the tailgate. I had similar plus bulb failure warnings = broken wires, had to slice the rubber and fix it.

Thanks guys I'll try the wires before I go changing the motor. Cheaper option first :wink:

I have just got my mrs to step on the brakes and i noticed the brake light strip is out as well. The reverse light and fog light still work. So looking like you could be right. Will get my mechanic to take a look. I'm not to good with wiring.
