Title: 235/40/18 Goodyear asymmetric 2 how much tread new?

just curious if anyone know how much tread these come with new?

also im in need off two new front tyres, currently have these on and think there great.

any other opinions?

How come your getting 235 section tyres for a golf? I know it's only 10mm difference but on my focus it tends to tramline quite a bit?

I got this from a friend I wouldn't run 235 on mine mate. Sold now

And case solved already I have got 225 I just realised ...was seeing what the difference was and thought that they came with 7mm new :,)

235's on my 18's with no problems if aligned correctly and they have better grip.

i think my 225 have amazing grip tbh...235 even better? i like abit off stance look on mine aswell would it ruin it or be really small difference?

 any other tyres?
