Title: Rooksy's bagged 1.9TDI (UPDATES PAGE 4)
Post by: Rooksy on August 10, 2014, 05:11:19 pm
Hi guys i've been hanging around here for a while but never made a post. I have a 1.9tdi with gti interior, side skirts and front and rear bumper.
Here's a pic when i bought it:
(https://www.mk5golfgti.co.uk/forum/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fdaz.co%2Fmedia%2Frooksy1%2Fgolf_mk5%2FCC5322CE-4E00-4ED5-9494-099ADE01D804.jpg&hash=8813b431d9c1d3b955da17a38ccf8b269114eb1a)

It wasn't long before i started putting my mark on the car and dropped it on coilovers:

(https://www.mk5golfgti.co.uk/forum/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fdaz.co%2Fmedia%2Frooksy1%2Fgolf_mk5%2F82F1FA06-2984-40AD-B5AB-1645E160075C.jpg&hash=9d4c965ebe19c80d3d27f4e5f51244f10b536db0)

I have always wanted a set of Mercedes Alphards and one of my mates decided to sell his so i just had to have them in the desired sizes of 8.5j front 9.5 rears :D

(https://www.mk5golfgti.co.uk/forum/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fdaz.co%2Fmedia%2Frooksy1%2Fgolf_mk5%2F9C1C76BB-7017-4A7F-A0F0-384B36EA1A63.jpg&hash=7178b641a420f9ef079676c0f776eeae1a6a2a1a)

I disliked the tints so i got them removed, dropped the suspension some more and fitted a de-badged smooth front grill. I then took it to it's 1st show at fueled society:

I then took it to fitted uk:

Title: Re: Rooksy's static tdi + Merc Alphards (photoshoot goodness!)
Post by: Rooksy on December 07, 2014, 10:46:28 pm
I have been quiet for a while but i have fitted some new wheels this weekend while i polish the alphards over the winter months. They are Azev A's in the very rare fitment of 18" 5x112 8.5j wide that i couldn't resist buying. They was a mess when i got them but i have sprayed them my self and love them

I thought it was about time i revived my thread. So here is some recent pictures of what i've been up to with the golf. I am now running a full air lift manual set up for my suspension. I am still needing a chassis notch but i am over the moon with how the car now sits. Also fitted an ed30 splitter and a few carbon bits

Thanks mate these are just from ebay, they aren't the greatest if i'm honest they are very flimsy and don't stick to well to the mirror
