Hi.
I have for sale my Civic type R,which ive only had since april and done 250 mile in it since i bought it beacause i have a van for everyday use but now im getting a garage im wanting a kitcar maybe so the civic has to go.
The car must be one of the best specd civics in the country with reciepts totalling to £12000,all of the work carried out has been done by reputable companies such as TDI North,ABP motorsport and grinspeed,no corner has been cut with this car.
Condition wise its in excellent condtion with no dents scratches and all the wheels are 100% kerb free..the tyres have got loads left aswell.
Im a bit of a detailing nut so ive recently cleaned and detailed every inch of it including the arches and underside of bootfloor, exhaust, anti rollbar, all of the rear end of which you can see when you get down. The engine bay has been done too,no grime, grease or dirt there either.
Mileage is 66000
Last serviced @ 63,185miles at Grinspeed; Oil + filter, gearbox oil, brake fluid & geo set-up with a full check over of the car.
Its MOT`d till end of november

cool car but only 175lbft puts me off....would feel too slow when you have had 315+lbft

I think slow is the wrong word, would Defo feel slower than a mapped KO4 but the razor sharp engine would make up for it somewhat...
-
I had an ep3 similar spec at 255bhp roughly same torque mapped etc at tdi north, Obv similar to the fn2 with same k20 engine.
Its a totally different kind of car to drive than my gti. Tbh i miss the type r for that bit of fun out in the country side.
Till you have one you will know what they are about. And being mapped by tdi north it will be spot on great bunch of guys, actually taking my gti their aswell as they partner up with amd.
I no way knocking the gti just different kettle of fish.
Well spec'd car. Would you not have better luck over on typer owners forum and civictype r forum mate. Anyway good luck with the sale.

This really ^^^^^^^.
I went from a stage 2+ edition 30 to this and yes it doesnt have the torque of the golf but with 256 bhp and lighter its no slouch, the handling is so precise too.
