Welcome along!!

I'm also from Dublin and I think I could have been the owner of your car a year ago!!

When I started looking I distinctly remember looking at your car and I was tempted to buy it!

From my memory it was cream leather interior?

Ye, cream leather, dsg, miltek exhaust etc.  got bit remapped 8 weeks ago.
I was in touch with the original owner and one other from the midland.

It was on the market about a year ago and I loved it but 3 door just wasn't for me so I held out!

I'm also from Dublin yes! Thinking about buying vcds in the future so I'm sure I can help you out if needs be with bits here and there

Great stuff. I have the torque app up and running at the moment, not a bad piece of kit
For less than €10.
Saw your gti on previous posts , niiiiice.
Tried you on the mobile earlier, it won't connect. Then I realised
You were only thinking of buying my car before, thought from your post that
You had actually owned it.  My bad.

I actually have the pro version of the torque app and now I'm currently in talks with the developer of the carista app (able to code car airbag lights etc.) to see if he can get it to work with the gti!

Don't know why it wouldn't connect. Just checked mail again and I sent you the right number.

If you're having any issues with the car anyway feel free to give me a shout. I'm no expert but I'd consider myself fairly knowledgable on my car!

Going to change my diverted valve this weekend because the carista app gave me the low boost error code!

That app sounds cool. The torque app is a little unreliable for working out bhp and psi.
Wouldn't mind trying your app and see what it shows.
Where in dublin are you From?

Send me a text there on the number I emailed you and I'll give you a shout.

The carista app is fantastic but it only seems to connect 1 in 100 times so I'm trying to get it to work. You can also change functions on it like making your alarm beep when you open/lock car along with hidden fault codes.
