Title: Tax Disc Replacement Idea
Post by: f1fan on August 16, 2014, 11:51:29 am: I hope this hasn't been thought of already, I couldn't find anything from a search.

Anyway, as you probably know the DVLA are changing the tax disc rules from the 1st October. You will no longer need to display a tax disc in your window and after that date the DVLA will stop issuing paper tax discs.

So... what do you do with your nice metal designer tax disc holder you bought for your GTi (or am I the only person?!)

I was thinking, could we get the forums sticker logo turned into an insert to put in your tax disc holder. Great way to keep your holder and show the world your a member of this great forum.

Mines actually quite nice and was quite expensive so I want to keep it

From what I've read you can keep an old in the window, the authorities won't be looking at them anymore, they are just interested in your number plate now.
