Hi I'm sorry if this has been asked before, do the oem genuine chrome tip window switches fit a 2008 mk5 as I've been offered a set of a mk6 that's being broke.

I believe so.

I've ordered mk6 chrome switches from Ali express to fit my mk5.

Only takes minutes to fit driver side so you could check right there and then!

Yeah will fit fine, very nice upgrade  :happy2:

Did mine along some other changes to freshen up the interior

Well i can confirm the factory fitted mk6 golf one do fit the mk5 without any issues as iv just fitted them into my mk5 & apart from having to remove the rear door card the job wasn't to hard  :wink:

The only thing I'm curious about some of my original ones have 4 pins & some of mk6 only have 3 pins however all functions seem to work ok
