Title: New GTI owner, service part numbers required
Post by: -Elliot- on August 17, 2014, 11:18:17 am
Pick up my Golf GTI tomorrow, 54 plate, so quite early but well looked after.
Am planning on changing some bits and doing a good service just as a precaution, and before winter sets in!!

Would like to know if anybody has the part numbers for the oil pick up parts? Cant find them anywhere online!!

Also, what grade oil do you recommend? or any specific brand?

I am a qualified mechanic, would just like other peoples opinions on what is good for this car!

Many thanks

A lot use Castrol Edge 5w30. Also Millers Nanodrive 5w40 - expensive but good.
