Title: Rns 510 dab bad signal
Post by: Johnmcgti on August 18, 2014, 07:24:24 pm
Hi all was wondering if anyone could help me out, I recently upgraded my mfd2 sat nav for a rns510 dab but I am having really bad signal on dab and normal radio! I realised I needed to buy a different lead for the rns510 so I purchased this (https://www.mk5golfgti.co.uk/forum/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fdaz.co%2Fmedia%2Faf38%2Fjohnmc_photos%2F7de3d5b60cb0d9308640d0684d45e436.jpg&hash=3075c210f06970e4c91a6a293a80b423e26f4152)
When it came around to fitting he stereo I was left with another connector similar to the green one pictured but there was no where for it to go, the stereo turned on and worked fine for a couple of hours then the signal started to go.
Any help would be appreciated.

that lead you have there is for the normal fm/am radio & the other connector is for the dab you need to either fit a dab shark fin on the roof or after market glass mount jobbie

don't waste your time or money with the glass mounted jobbie.
