Title: Best battery for Golf Gti mk5?

Need a new battery for car.  Any ideas on the best one?

Currently have varta 12v 70ah 340a din.

It's all in the dimensions...  :wink:

I have one and it fits perfectly being the same size as the original oem one.

I got Bosch S5 74ah and it's great ! Helped a lot with cold start hesitation and lasts for a long time without going low

I got the Bosch S5 007 a couple of years back.  Asked the same question as you on here and the consensus seemed to be Bosch. Does the job well, better than the original. 5 year warranty as well, so no worries.

I have an S5 in my Lupo  :signLOL: works very well, never struggles to start!

The specs are better than the Bosch and it's cheaper than the Bosch, hopefully will install it tomorrow!!

TPS sell Varta's and they are 40odd quid  :happy2:
