Dear All
I finally got my act together and took a photo worthy of my first post on this site. Bought this lovely one owner, low mileage, full VWSH, completely standard Edition 30 DSG two months ago (build number 1106). What a fantastic car. I'm loving every minute of it, it reminds me a lot of my Mk.1 - effortless speed, great handling - lots of fun :happy2:
Love the site, a great source of information and links for fellow enthusiasts, thanks to you all for sharing.
I've no intention of doing any modifications just lots of washing and waxing for the moment. I'll keep you all posted on any interesting activities.

Care to share any piccys of your cabby? They are for the truly discerning owner and a Gti version would be the bomb.

Make sure you replace the cam follower as it's known to wear on these :happy2:
It's a cheap and easy fix (plenty of DIY guides on the forum)

Hi Demon666
I'm on the other coast, north coast near Croyde. I'ts nice to be near the sea but the sand and salty air are killers.
-
Very nice, exactly the same car combination that I would have if I had a spare garage for the mk1 gti. One day though!
