Hi all had this problem for at least eight months intermittent hot or cold when accelerating get a dip in power then the noise comes like a tappet grinding type noise gets louder faster with acceleration through gears does it when in gear or stationary revving its so annoying love the car but can't go on with this also if I switch off leave for a few mins then start again it's 80/ of the time goes then nothing for a few days had cam checked recon gearbox cleaned egr changed fuel filter had three injectors done as per recall
Help help help please oh yeh it's a gt tdi 170 2007
