Title: Best RNS-510 replica?
Post by: samiul11 on August 26, 2014, 06:31:23 pm: Need to update as im currently bored of my system...was looking at the Veyron VNS-VW http://www.auto-electronics.com/index.php/veyron-vns-vw.html ...has anyone had one of these installed?

Is there any other good copies out there as i dont want to spend £500 on the actual rns510 :ashamed:

Sorry I don't have it (don't even have a Golf Gti yet :signLOL:), but this would be the one I get if the car doesn't come with an RNS.

Have a search on youtube, the Eonon gear seems reliable.

Also as far as I know you just put the SD card into a PC download the Sygic software and it will update it. I've never actually done it though. I've been really happy with it for the past two years though. The only thing that lets it down is the iPod menu. It only shows a list of all the songs and no selection for Artists, albums etc. It's not too much problem as I mainly use the SD card though or if I do have the iPod on it's on shuffle and I just skip through.
