Title: what intercoolerare you using for ko4 GTI

Hey guys,will be going ko4 soon but just wondering on which intercooler to use to support the conversion ,not willing to spend a kidney on an ic whats the cheapest core that will do the trick

THS on my Stage2+ Eddy.

Alex at AKS is trying out a mother of an IC (a PERON) so might be worth following his progress with that one.

Hi, s3 on my ed30. All depends on what you want to spend. In my opinion s3 is a good price upgrade.

There was a new THS intercooler on ebay. I offerd him £400 and he counterd me £425 i didn't take it though as i got a 2nd hand one cheaper.  Its still on ebay just now.

The problem guys is that in my country lebanon we do not have paypal so payment is an issue i need to buy something local... from what i see from your suggestion that an mk6 R ic will do the job ...temperatures here reach 35° sometimes in august and begining september other then that it gets as low as 10° in winter and begining spring and summer around 25-30...So will an R ic do the job(its practically them same as an S3)
