Title: Microfiber Vs Foam

Has anyone got or know of any good online tutorials / video's / threads of microfiber vs foam pads when using a DA? Something that explains pro's and con's to both types of pad etc..

Due a new order of pads so wondering whether i should try the microfiber instead of the foam for a change.

I got both!

I'm using chemical guys V34 with hex logic red pad - Foam

Follow with chemical guys V36 and black optics cutting pad - Microfiber

Finish with chemical guys v38 and black optics finishing pad - Microfiber

I'm no expert now but I imagine that microfiber is a lot softer than foam so would be more ideal for final finishes.

Sounds great :happy2: You gave them a go yet or still due to try out? Only got the M105 & M205 at the moment so i might also have to look into getting some more polish yet but i don't know until i get home.

As far as polish goes though i think the M105 & M205 is all i really need unless someone can offer advice on what else is better or what else i can add to my stock to achieve further results than i have already?..

For now though just want to watch a few video's / threads of the techy / geeky side of the Microfiber pads vs the Foam.

I haven't tried them out yet because I just gave it a full jetseal last week and don't want to remove it yet for polishing.
