Title: Inner cv boot

Am i correct in thinking the inner CV boot is not as much as of a PITA as the outers.

I've recently replaced both outer CV boots now i've noticed one inner is split. I knew i should have replaced the inners at the same time.

Getting the axle out was not the problem getting the joint off the axle was.

Went to get the parts to change the inner CV boot. Last time i replaced the 6 bolts holding the shaft to the gearbox as i was told they were one use stretch bolts.

I asked the stealers and they said they were not one use. I will be changing the main bolt as i know for sure this is a stretch bolt.

Any one know if the stealers are correct?

Have re-used the inner CV bolts on my old car loads of times with no issues.

Thanks mate. I will reuse them.
