Title: Ipad Mini dash install

Has anyone tried installing an Ipad mini in place of the head unit? Seen a few done, which look really cool.
With the new IOS 8 promising the ability to connect to your Iphone to make calls/messages and with the DashCommand App, it is something i'm wanting to do more and more.

Hopefully we will learn more about carplay during the apple conference :)

I'm waiting to see the new alpine carplay headunit when they are finally released
