I Just want to say thanks to Timepillow for recently hooking me up with a few slick VCDS tweaks – namely the US Running lights, one touch closure and the DSG “reset” – shame we couldn’t get the cornering lights to work even though we activtated them, but never the less, the guy is a gent and credit to this forum!

Next up is retrofitting cruise 

I had to look at the post title twice when i saw my user name haha  :happy2:

And i know why the mourning lights didn't work...i looked at the coding on my car and i forgot to tick the box above! :ashamed:
But can easily do that for you if you want cruise fitting at some point in the future!

those sound handy tweeks....

are they just done by adding codding? or hardware and coding?

At least we now know that it can work, the cornering lights that is, I'll order the stalk today and the wire, just in case its needed, when it all arrives I'll drop you a text and we'll go from there, although having decided to buy a new house shortly, it may be the case that the edition 30 goes up for sale in the near future!  :sad1:
