They fit into the standard Engine cover and into the pegs.
Can't seem to see them here: http://www.partscats.info/volkswagen/en/?i=cat_vag_models&brand=vw&number=1714&set=1728&ein=2007&f=474&hauptgr=1234567890&hg=1&grf=010380409&bf=10380&hgug=103&ug=03&parent_id=2335052
A couple of mine have split again causing the Oil cap to prise off.

Do you know the part number of the post they fit onto?
There's 2 on the front of the engine which screw into brackets?

WHT 000 898 A, this is the correct part number as Bacillus has listed above
-
A good tip when refitting, is to put some vaseline around the plugs. This should stop them from tearing as they tend to do after a few yanks.
-
Put WHT 898 A into TPS and various other parts places and it comes up with nothing put it in to EBay but the sellers dispatch from Hong Kong . A link to a uk place for purchase would be really helpful .
-
Whats wrong with your local VW parts department? The numbers are good....
