Title: Fitting turbo back down pipe and exhaust? Anything I need?
Post by: arris on September 02, 2014, 08:35:53 am
Right bought a turbo back down pipe and exhaust that I'm looking at fitting at weekend.

Is there any gaskets or bolts I should buy to replace at same time?

If so what ones or part numbers so I can order from TPS to have on the day.

Any other tips would be nice also :)

Cheers
Rick

Change the exhaust/turbo gasket for sure. I think thats good practice. Bolts should be ok to reuse

Alex uses high temp silicone on the joints of the exhaust too... so I would do that so it seals better and makes any later adjustments/removal easier.

Google it. Black high temp silicone gasket. Loads to choose from.
