Title: longlife suitcase delete price and tailpipe quiry
Post by: Jeffchiz on September 06, 2014, 03:06:37 pm
Hi all, i went to longlife exhuasts today in peterborough and booked my car in to have a back box delete they said about £150 to do it (does that sound reasonable?)  and i provisionally chose their 2.5" twin tail pipe, i went in wanting 2x3" pipes but he didnt have one to hand to show me only had the the 2.5" one to hand we put it up to the car and imo it looked like a decent size, but all aftermarket exhausts seem to be 3", has anyone got a pic or seen a gti with the 2.5 pipes? i dont want them too look lost in the recess, they are outwardly rolled as well but does give the illusion of the being bigger.

Did you get this done in the end mate? Interested in the results, noise on boost etc....
