Title: Audi TTRS brakes
Post by: A1SGP on September 06, 2014, 10:18:02 pm
Can anybody tell me if the TTRS brakes will fit 18" wheels , or have you got to have 19"s . And to anybody that has them what do you think of them ?

18s will work but with OEM wheels youll need a spacer.

18's are tight supposedly not all 18's will fit over them (depends on design), you can get these calipers to fit onto R32 345m discs with some DaveB brackets

Would I need bigger then 8-10mm spacers if I'm running the calipers with r32 discs.

Doubt it.

The clearance is the same for the R32 and TTRS discs as the bracket is just an new carrier that moves the calipers closer into the disc. As for a review, they're f*cking awesome, I run them with drilled and grooved TTS discs (lighter than R32 ones) and Brembo sport pads and they stop hard time and time again I would highly recommend them.

You can fit them behind 18's with spacers, but it's the et on wheels you've got to be careful of.

For an OEM wheel i.e ET51 and 7.5j on a 340/345mm disc you need a 12mm spacer. :happy2:

Assuming they're 8j then a 5mm spacer should be plenty, my wheels are 8j et45 and they clear by about 1mm or so and they have actually touched at some point
