Post by: dan_the_v8man on September 07, 2014, 06:27:42 pm
Does anyone know a part number for the broken sensor on my high pressure fuel pump?

Cheers,

Don't shoot the messenger but that part only comes with a new pump and not sold separately!
Your best course of action would be to buy a second hand hpfp, use it or swap sensors.

I had a sneaking suspicion that was the case. Fortunately my friend superglue came to the rescue!

Sorry for the thread revival, I came to do my cam follower earlier and my sensor looked like this on top, if it gets any worse will it affect my car running properly?scared to remove the sensor in case I snap it off  :scared:

I had the same issue with the sensor on the top and mine ran badly. Ended up buying an uprated high pressure fuel pump - every cloud and all
