Title: Clutch pack advice

Hi

Spoke to a local VW specialist about my car juddering a little bit in slow traffic in 2nd gear only. I have no other issues in any other gear or clunking between gears etc so he thought it was more than likely the clutch pack rather than the mechatronic and said it would cost approx £1000 for parts and be 3 hours labour.

Just wanted to get your thoughts on if you think this could be the issue and if the price seems OK?

I wouldn't go to main dealer to have it done £1000 is expensive.
