Title: Cam belt kit's

Hi there! it's cam belt time could anyone help with kit to get for my 06 Gti.  Genuine is about £180 plus water pump.  My quote from VW for full service & cambelt was nearly £900..... I won't be going back to VW anymore  :sad1:

my Edition 30 is getting its cam belt done today with water pump and 40k service for £520 all in..

thats at Awesome GTI (Nr Manchester)

I got the timing belt kit and water pump from tps parts for £130 with an exchange for the pump. Then fitted it myself to save on labour charges.

My first call was to Nott's TPS, £180 for the cambelt kit! water pump was about £48 exchange.
