thats why the GF's time in the mk5 is definatley reduced to supervised only as from tomo nite :evilgrin:

haha well spotted yep yep yep-thats the bumper-looking to close in a diffuser(carbon) this wkend-if not i,ll buy one from a dealer and get it wrapped. and the kitty(excuse the pun haha TC) is halfway full for the blueflame for january
i,ll get some pics next week if all goes to plan.
and big fanx to robokn for good price on the rims and despite a stressful week with DHL and a few hiccups he was very helpful and he kept me in the picture at all times and they arrived before d-day(today) so i can attempt fitting tomo!

Im using Falkens on my fronts at the mo. Great tyre for the price, but hate the fact it has no rim protector. I think rim protectors look nicer overall.

my girl seems to have lifted a little but i hope she settles back down and drops but have barely driven her since the changeover.
they need serious cleaning with all the lube on them but i love them!!

the wheels are 19x8.5 et45 and the tyres are falken fk452 215/35zr19 oooh get me all technical(if only i knew what any of that meant :ashamed:
i didnt plan on such a stretched look but i do luv it :pomppomp: such a tart!
funny thing is,when i stood the 17 monzas with continentals next to them they were exactly the same height!
yep joe dammit i do!! moar low.. not summink i budgeted for but once i get me ars changed then thats now on the list-unless i change the tyres next time i reckon they will prob close the arch gap again!

They look absolutely awesome mate, get it slammed and your rocking! :drool: :drool: The only think that aint doing it for me are the rear lights, a set of ED30/R32 would look sweet, but ETTO and all that :wink: :happy2:

yeah i think the lights are a bit marmite luv em or hate em, but for me it just makes them a bit different(good and bad it seems)
and i have another peice of marmite on its way so again some will like some(most) wont.
once thats done then thats it for few months whilst saving hard for the blueflame.
i,m thinking do i go coilovers or do i just get better(lower) springs??

am watching out for potholes and darent go silly around corners... methinks the tyres will have to be changed i need more protection.
but i bloody love them and my daughter oves fact all her mates and peers check out the car as she gets picked up or dropped off, she knows the full spec of the car too lol....ahhhh bless .....a new dubber in the making!
my 16yr old son wants a mk3 as his first car, saving up for june next year :sad1:

in the scheme of things i wont be able to afford to lower it for a while yet and some of the roads here abouts are bloody awful even with just springs so i,m a tad nervous.
as ive said i also think these tyres have opened the archgap ,more so that the monzas on continentals1!!(go figure :confused:)and if i get diff tyre it will close and make car look lower again
and oce the new ars end is on and all colour coded and the new carbon accessories are there then i can save for the loering stick!
then in the famous last word category..... the car will be done!!! yeah right not with this lots influence
