Yep, I reckon so. Showed the ad to my daughter (who is very easily led to believe anything) and first thing she said was "You'd have to be pretty stupid to put your phone in a microwave!"  :grin:

Reminds me of the fake waterproof as a couple of years ago. Dumb people will be dumb, no matter what phone they buy.
