Hi all,
Been a lurker for a while, using the site as a resource, but as I need at least 10 posts to be able to PM for example if I'm interested in buying from the classifieds I thought I'd better introduce myself and start that post count!
We have a 2008 R32 5 door in black which is primarily the wife's car to Shepard our two young kids about in, and take on the family duties. Had it about 14 months and it is fairly low mileage at 36,000.
My daily car is a 2008 RenaultSport Megane DCi175 which is a great all round car with a fantastic chasis and incredibly reliable 2L Nissan diesel which standard puts out 173bhp & 267lbft and after a remap has about 200bhp & 300lbft and still return 51mpg. Pretty rare as only about 400 odd were sold in the UK as they were actually more expensive new than the petrol RS Meganes.
Also have a 1992 Lancia Delta integrale EVO which I've owned for 11 years and will probably never sell. It's a truely brilliant car from an era of brilliant road going homologation rally reps.
And finally a trackday Fiat Cinquecento with a 1.4 16V 6speed Quaife LSD FIA MSA blue book standard Sparco roll cage Canems ECU uprated everywhere and stripped of pretty much everything. Sadly sitting dormant since my daughter was born 3 years ago but intend to get it back up and running soon.
So I'm not a VW fanboy, I just love cars in general.
Regards,
Aaron.

Welcome mate, get some photos up of your motors (will help build up your post count ).
Always loved the integrale Evo.

Welcome along!!
-
Yeah good idea, I'll see what pics I have at hand to build the post count up.

Welcome to the fold! :drinking:

I did live the SEGA Rally dream at one point with a Celica GT4 ST205 being my daily. Brilliant car, really underestimated compared to integrale's or Ford Escort being more powerful with less lag & having a stiffer chassis standard.

Please refrain for bumping your post count "just" to access your PMs.

The reason she never bonded with the Civic was because it replaced her beloved Mitsubishi FTO GPvR. A rare car of 350 odd JDM only 2L V6 200ps through variable intake length and cam timing. Very clever bit of engineering. LSD, manual box not the aweful Porsche licensed auto, uprated dampers with lower springs, thicker anti-roll bars and shorter drop links, fully adjustable uprated multi-link read suspension shared with the EVO1-3.
She says her R32 is the best car since the FTO, it must be a V6 thing.

Thanks all for the kind words. Ive not actually driven the integrale for a while as I need to change the cambelt. Having kids seems to move all your priorities. Though we are very happy with our R32 family car!
