Title: Windows No Longer Go Down From Key Fob
Post by: Georrge on September 30, 2014, 11:34:44 am
Hi guys,

When I first got my car, if I held down the unlock button my windows would go down, and if I held the lock button the windows would go up. This was pretty cool during the summer.

However, I tried doing this yesterday and nothing happened?

Could this have accidently been switched off on vag com? (I've had a few things done, locking beep, boot pop etc)

Cheers!

Do a Window Reset.

Could easily have been unticked if fiddling with VCDS, just a tick box in the long coding, relates to comfort options (comfort opening by remote) or something like that.

You may have accidentally turned off convenience mode.

This is what I did and it took a few changes of battery and months of bitching about it for me to realise!

Do a Window Reset.

I tried this but still no luck  :sad1:

You may have accidentally turned off convenience mode.

What other features are on convenience mode so that I can test them to see if I have turned it off or not, because I don't own my own vag com cable.

Cheers

I like this feature and use it quite a bit in the summer, is there anyway of making the same thing happen with just locking the doors... One click?
