Evening,
I disconnected my batter and the steering fault light has came on.
I'm sure if read somewhere on here about turning the steering wheel some way to clear it.
I've tried searching but can't find anything, can anyone help with this?
Thanks

I just take mine for a quick spin
-
Sound, hopefully it'll go off when I use itin the morning

AFAIK older mk5 versions you just need to steer all left then all right. Newer version just drive a couple yards and the steering sensor will recalibrate.

Mine is a 2005

Mines 2007 so hopefully it'll sort itself out

Maybe only mk4 need those steering wheel turns, then.

Take it for a spin, light will go off.

If you don't drive it then it will catch fire and EXPLODE.
