Have read the intercooler off a facelift s3 is a worthwhile upgrade, quick question though, is it a direct swap for the standard cooler or do I need different hoses or anything different? Also is it worth while on a k03 gti with pipercross panel filter with 3" turbo back exhaust as going to get it mapped in the next few months

direct fit, all you need to do is modify your hoses by removing the end clips
-
It's a direct fit, just cut the metal ends of the pipes slide them over and secure with a jubilee clip
-
Thats good, nice and easy, now would it be worth while with the mods I have on my car?
-
Is this the same as a s3 intercooler and will those hoses fit my golf?

What other hoses can you use with the s3 intercooler uograde type.
Would I need s3 hoses or gti ones.

Anybody know if this would be a direct fit? Also a good upgrade for the standard cooler?

Personally I'd rather get a second hand S3 cooler for about £200 - £250 or spend a bit more and get a new one, you know it's going to have OEM standard build quality and be a straight fit.
-
ive got that intercooler at 360bhp its a direct fit although the couplers that they supply are sh*t and you have to buy a creation motorsport coupler 64 - 63mm

When does the stock S3 8P IC become restrictive ?

360bhp
