Evening all
Whats the going rate for wrapping these days? Is it cheaper than a spray job?
Need the bonnet and bumper doing, but im considering a full wrap
Thinking fiat coupe sprint blue will look tidy with the dark pescaras
Miss the old fiat haha
So anyone know a good place in north wales or close by, and how much it costs these days

I think 700ish is a starting rate not sure if that would include door shuts and other small areas, suppose it depends on the skill of the garage and quality of wrap used, definitely cheaper than a respray though as it's only temp

Plasti dip is another option, starts at the £400 mark

Its kinda same as a wrap but its sprayed on and kinda has a rubberish feel to it. They say it lasts 5 to 10 year. And can be peeled off like a wrap if you wish.
Think its more popular in america but is taking off a bit here now.

I've only done wheels with it (my winters) but it sure is hardy stuff. Recently had two new winter boots (after being on for about 18 months) fitted and they came out fine, ready for a winter bashing (if we ever get a winter :)
You can get different finishes now too, Metalizer and a Glossifier to shine it up.

Yeah it does seem good. Mine is a matte anthracite. I wish i went for gloss finish thoug because when dirty it just seems faded a bit even it isn't.
Its crazy how they put it on. Just sprayed on and peel it off round the lights etc. Only thing i didn't like is how they didnt take it in much on the inside of the door.
