Is it the curb stone just under your wheel. :star:
-

Err, you're right about the kerbstone and the pavement was re-covered at the same time....about 6 months ago
But Jay is spot on. :happy2:
The lower splitter needed a re-spray anyway from all the little paint chips. so I decided to treat it to a colour code with the wheels and gloss front of the grill. Looks much better too!
No more scratch on the driver's side door and front wing either :jumpmove:
All for £375 and the paintwork match and quality is spot-on too :pomppomp: :pomppomp:

paint does not look the same to me but that could be down the photo/light as i know silver is so hard to get spot

My bodyshop told me that Reflex Silver is very easy to match... you dont have to blend it with anything.
Red is the worst colour of all... no matter how hard you try... you'll never be able to match Red, it will always look different in other lights.
This is because, the pigment from Red comes from a Stone ( forget what country ) and all those stones vary.

to be honest, paint matching is never going to be perfect!
youd notice everything under the lights in my unit! red silver the lot.
but silver is known for being a b1tch to match. Mainly because the main component of the silver paint is the "flake"

I agree about the "flake effect"
The colour match is spot on, the flakes in the splitter are a little smaller than the original paint, so maybe that is what is giving the effect that Matt is seeing
