Hello all,
Just bought my new 56 plate GT TDI 170 bhp, and I am indecisive on a few things I'm thinking about doing to it so thought I'd make a topic and see if some of you could help me out...
•ECU remap?
•DPF removal?
I'm also thinking about getting my roof, spoiler, side mirrors wrapped black but considering my car is red im not too sure on if it will look good. Thoughts?
I would put a photo up but I'm not sure how to
Anyway thanks
Hope to see some replies :D

Www.cctuning.co.uk i believe are good in the mapping of diesels.
Darkside developments have a dpf decat pipe available.have one in my sitting room waiting to be fitted along with egr bypass.

Thanks for the reply mate
You have any idea how much bhp and that you would achieve by taking the DPF off? Is it worth it? Or you think only the remap is needed?
I was going to blank the egr valve but read into it and it just makes you drink more fuel and you don't get much gains, you just cause problems pretty much so I decided not to do it

Should get another 30 bhp if mapped properly.
Also if mapped right,it should reduce the amount of fuel used in some cases.

my car is standard gt170 sport with a stage one remap from p- torque and it achieved 208bhp 338 ft lb i believe with dpf removal etc you may get nearer 220 bhp from p torque

Thanks mate so you haven't removed the DPF? What's the 208bhp & 338ft lb? Goes well? Much of a difference to standard?
The engine still running good?
Sorry for all the questions, just really thinking bout getting it done and don't want to fall into any problems

Can anyone move this to the right section of the forum
