Title: Coolant!

Can I use water to top up my coolant or is this a bad idea ?

For a small top up, maybe once or twice, it's OK...
If you are constantly topping up then I would stick with G12 and investigate the problem.

Thanks, it's going in for a service a week tomorrow so it should be fine till then ?
I've just recently had a new radiator fitted and I think they've forgot to top up the coolant, I think that's why its a bit low.
