Title: How do I remove this part of the Drivers side handle
Post by: crs834 on October 10, 2014, 10:04:04 pm: Can't figure out how to remove this part of the handle.. Has anyone got any idea? Did some searching but only came up with with removing the part with the switches

I want to remove it as I'm going to remove the rubber coating and plasti-dip it!

Post by: lukemk5gti on October 10, 2014, 10:19:20 pm: Wanted to do the exact same thing as you. From memory it required removal of the door card to get to the screws at the back. Similar to the passenger side.

as above, look closely at either side and theres a clip you pull back slightly and it slides away from you then off.

Post by: crs834 on October 13, 2014, 06:15:27 pm: Thanks guy, tried pushing a clip (not quite sure which one to be honest) and it just slid off! Couldn't tell you how to do it exactly though as it kind of just fell off in my hand and it was dark! :happy2:
