Title: How have people done this?
Post by: K9 on October 13, 2014, 08:41:38 am: hey, about to send my front splitter side skirts and rear bumper to the paintshop to get the colourcoded in tornadored. Now question is that does the standard rearbumper look nice painted? i cant afford a edition30 bumper right now :/ any pics od standard colourcoded in red?

is the middle part stock texture or matte black? how would gloss black looklike?

Bits of black look like add ons !

Think it looks so much better colour coded, ive got to get my splitter done next :) never regretted any of it.

Post by: Shoduchi on October 14, 2014, 03:30:57 pm: IMO it looks better with the lower cut out part in gloss black than matte black or plastic texture. And also the front lower splitter painted in gloss black. Even all the front grills painted gloss black look great. :laugh:

Post by: Shoduchi on October 15, 2014, 12:17:36 am: I have a friend with the GTI rear valance painted like that and that's why I decided to do the same. He deleted his project on the public forum so the pictures from his Golf aren't available now.

I never took pictures of mine while with that spoiler.
