Title: Comfort Indicator Clicks
Post by: akbarirfan on October 17, 2014, 06:32:49 pm
Hi All,

Is it possible to change the comfort indicator clicks to greater than 3?

I have VCDS access.

Thanks,

Irfan

Just on or off I believe, no altering the number.

Yes it is possible. Think you have to go into Instruments using VCDS. Can't remember off the top of my head without looking but can definitely be done. If no one has replied by the time I get home from work I will plug mine in and refresh my memory  :happy2:

You can have upto a maximum of 5 IRCC.

Think its in 09 - central electrics / adaptations

Never tried it on a MK5 though

So it seems I was wrong. You cannot do it on the MK5. Below was taken from the Rosstech Wiki site:

"Comfort Turn signals may be turned On -or- Off via coding. The number of flashes cannot be adjusted."

But I have been able to change mine as I have Polar FIS installed which gives me the option to change how many flashes you can have.

It is available to change on the MK6 though as I have done it to the Mrs' car.

Mine is set to 4 blinks via Polar FIS+
