I'm possibly back in the market for a GTi, only this time an Ed30. I'm curious to know what, if anything, is standard fit on the Ed30? Xenons? Highline? Heated seats?
-
Heated Seat and Half Leather where the main things over the bogo GTI IIRC :happy2:
-
Xenons and Highline were options :happy2:
Along with:
Lux Pack (Folding Mirrors with Puddle lights and rear interior reading lights)
Winter Pack (heated Seats, Low washer warning and heated washer jets)
Electric Sunroof
VW Sound Pack
RCD500
RNS510 (Sat Nav)
Rear Tints
Rear Airbags (5 door)
Rear Parking Sensors
MFSW (Paddles with DSG specified)
High Line Computer (I think this became standard fitment on cars with DSG and MFSW)
DSG
Centre Arm Rest (can also be added with 6 CD multi changer as part of the Sat Nav unit)
Ipod Connection
MP3 Connection (called something else in brochure IIRC)
5 Doors
Metallic Paint (Black, Silver and Grey)
I think that's most of them.... :star:

I think the OP was after the standard stuff on the ED30 - not the options.
Standard stuff includes:
Bigger K04 Turbo
ED30 spot trim with body coloured bumpers etc.
Part leather heated seats.
-
As above
+ 18" Pescara Wheels (as opposed to 17" Monzas on standard GTi)
+ Darkened Rear Light Lenses
+ Lots of red piping
+ other engine bits and bobs (as well as K04 turbo) to give the extra 30 bhp
anymore ?
-
^^
and a Edition30 badge on the bootlid
ok , i'll get me coat :ashamed:

Yes I know, But I was being helpful as his next question may have been...what options were available.... :P

Auto dimming rear view mirror is standard on an Ed30.
-
Cheers chaps, I wasnt sure what was included as standard with the Ed30.
Not a lot it would seem! All the Ed30s I've looked at had Xenons though, so wanted to check. I want a DSG. Xenons, highline and MFSW are a bit of a must for me too. Still talking fiancee around to the idea as insurance might be interesting for her, even though she can comfortably afford it now.

The search button is your friend! :happy2:

None of those are standard on any GTI or ED30.
-
Another thing that is standard on an Edition 30 is a numbered plaque and the satisfaction that you have a car that was limited to 1500 models.......
Hang on a minute, I'm talking about the wrong car here  :fighting:
-
The plaque is only standard on cars that had it fitted :driver:
-
Interior
Plain black carpet mats with red edging
Red stitched steering wheel, handbrake cover and gear knob
Golf ball style gear knob
Heated seats
1/2 leather and interlagos trim
Exterior
Fully colour coded bodykit, with slightly different rear spoiler/bumper
18" BBS Pescara wheels
Darkened rear lights same as R32
-
Cloth seats....
:congrats: this one will run for awhile longer rich :signLOL:
-
