Title: 7P6 035 730 J - Red Matrix

Does the above support white or red matrix? How the hell do you know if it does or doesn't and tell the difference just by part numbers and model numbers? Saves me posting a number here every time I think I find the right one, also how do you know if it has voice command?

That's no good for you. Check this list for compatible modules: http://wiki.ross-tech.com/wiki/index.php/Telephone_Retrofitting

You can order from http://www.carsystems.pl/bluetooth-kit,c76.html that it's legit and you can see in the description what modules are compatible with our clusters.

It's for a passat not a Golf would that make any difference? I read that list but couldn't make heads or tails of it tbh! Basically dad has an iPhone 4, but a Nokia module, want to know the cheapest module we can get for bluetooth to work, with voice control and on his red display!

To work with red dot matrix it has to work with protocol DDP. So you need to see from that list if that's the case. BAP is only for white dot matrix.

I don't know the features of the different modules. Maybe someone else can help you with that.

Age winner cheers mate, and I thought I needed rSAP for the iPhone 4 to work but i don't as they don't have it, what version as I looking for to work with iPhones and mainly the iPhone 4?
