Hi,

I've joined up as i hope to get the missus a GTi to replace her polo and need to get up to speed on the Mk5's.

I've seen a nice '55 plate with 45k and leather / satnav / sunroof which I hope to see next week.

Looking forward to learning loads - I used to have a 2.3 V5 20v Mk4 which was mapped by DNA, R32 DSG induction and had coilovers on so am hoping to start the golf thing all over again! I've already got plans for it!

Welcome mate, hopefully this MK5 you're viewing next week ticks all the right boxes. :happy2:

Well, we went to see it today and it does indeed tick all the boxes so hopefully we pick it up on Saturday!

47,000 miles, dark met blue and cream leather - very un-gti but we love it!
17" (spotless) Monza's, sat nav, sun-roof, dsg

It wasn't as quick as I was expecting - very linear power delivery so hopefully the missus won't mind me adding a bit more to it once she is used to it.

Regarding your signature: we had a 250ps hot-aero 95 and it was superb  :ashamed:
