Hey
I have a mk5 gt tdi dsg. The car sometimes jerks a little bit when I’m driving. Also when the car is cold in the morning and i have it in drive whilst stationary at the lights the car jerks and sometimes cuts off, However when i put the car in neutral its fine. Its starting jerking a little bit when I’m driving even when the car has heated up. Something aint right :(
Does anyone know what this problem could be?
Thanks

An oil change and a reset would be a good starting point these post will help.

If those fail then it gets expensive!

Thanks! hope the reset works. What if the reset doesn't work, what do you think it could be ? worried !

Maybe the DSG oil needs changing (Depending when it was last done)
If that doesnt solve it, then could be mechatronic unit on its way out

Forgot to mention, i had the dsg serviced quite recently. Il see if this reset helps

Vw can diagnose it for £65.

I'm going to reset the dsg and hope that will solve it , if it doesn't it will have to go to the dealers for a check.
