Anyone used this?
I did try and sort my A/C low gas towards the end of the summer however the "Kwik Fit" I went to (simply because of a cheap offer and the fact that they don't charge if they can't gas it), machine had broken, lol - after waiting an hour, HA>
So it kind of left my mind, but after scanning the other night (amongst another issue, sigh) I noticed the A/C error again, soooo...
Has anyone used the EZ Chill Aircon regas system you can pickup? There are no offers at the major places now, but I like A/C in the winter for demisting purposes.
Cheers :happy2:

There'll be an auto electrics place that does aircon, or a vehicle aircon specialist local to you I bet, I would much rather give them the £40 or so, than buy one of those kits.

Hmm, the reviews are excellent and there isn't a place for miles... I hear what you're saying though, have you tried it?

I thought about buying it a few years ago but decided to have someone do it for £40-45 with a vacuum of the old refrigerant and top up to the right level.
The garage who did my Golf is 20 miles away, when I changed the compressor on wifes Tig last month, I found a guy on a local industrial estate.

I'll do some searching online, my local Indy didn't really know of anyone, which I found a bit odd.
The kit consists of a debugger too, which (without the promo codes) would cost me nearly double at kwik fit, halfords, VW.
I quite liked the kwikfit offer as I've got a sneaking suspicion it may not even regas... Suppose I should suck up the price for the chance of that happening as they don't charge if cant be gassed.
Thanks for your input. :happy2:

Do I recall you are in North Wales?
http://www.wecoolanycar.com - £50 for an aircon service done at your home

Thanks Pal, that sounds great.
