Title: For sale section.
Post by: dazza on November 01, 2014, 09:19:55 pm
Has anyone had problems loading the for sale page? Cam follower stays there for ages? Or never gets changed.

Modified the code if anyone is still getting problems please let me know.

It seems quicker now.

Can you try a different browser? I cannot reproduce this error in chrome, safari or firefox. Are you using Internet Explorer if so which version?

It lets me select delivery or collection and enter a postage cost
When I save it it shows no postage costs in the advert
When I modify it states undefined in postage costs box
I use chrome myself

Can you let me know what version? Must be a javascript error. I managed to add a shipping price to the last product. For now let me know the shipping and i can add it for you.

I've tried to get into it a few times this week, seems to load as far as where it says mk5 in my search bar above and just stop, easily waited over 60 seconds.

Another thought... In the FS section, if a user puts the word SOLD in the title of something, can the system auto detect it and mark the item as sold (as if the user had ticked the box)?

I actually thought of doing it the other way adding sold to title when ticking the box. Worked out a pita due to multiple items etc. The FS section is not as customisable as the mods.

If sold is added to topic TITLE all products will be marked as sold. bit of testing please @th3_f15t (http://www.mk5golfgti.co.uk/forum/index.php?action=profile;u=8969)

Ok done all i can do with the FS page load now. Although we are loading 50 posts its actually 86 products. And 220 images in the back ground. I've cut this to 86 resized and compressed images.

Forgot to add 220 images some with dimensions > 2000 pixels from sh*ity image hosting sites.
