Post by: Johnny_tro on November 01, 2014, 09:55:36 pm
Right min does not work will not connect so will just buy an old phone to leave in car.

Can someone let me know what I look for to make sure phone is compatible please?

And if I did this.....could I just set the cheap phone to divert all call to my iPhone problem solved

To what one Joe? I think I've looked into this before, but never totally figured it out.

You need to find out what type of bluetooth profile the iPhone uses, then consult a page/table on the Ross-Tech website. I'll look for the link the now.

Might be of some help. You need to work out what display you have, and what module you have/need.

Had a 5K0 unit fitted to my golf along with an RNS version C and it worked fine with my old iPhone 4S and my current iPhone 5

I was advised the only way to do this was jailbreak the iphone and LOT of messing about.

the iphone does not have/support rSAP

Pretty sure mine is a 5k0 version B.

Works fine with my iphone, streams music which i can control off the mfsw

Calls come up on the rns510 and controlled through there too.

Whats rsap?

I could get one of them fis link things, which would then allow it to come up in the highline and controlled by MFSW too
